Anybody suffer from dizziness? I went to a neurologist and she gave me antivert for dizziness. All that does is make me sleepy and dizziness goes away for a time. I hate to go through an MrI because these spells come and go. I am on high blood pressure pills so wonder about that medicine. the neurologist says it is my inner ears. I am totally blind and get real scared of falling when I have these spells. Haven't yet but they scare me. Anybody else have this?

I get dizzy sometimes but haven't done anything about it. It started when I lost my vision, so I figured it was some blindy thing. It usually passes in a minute or two. I have never fallen, but I do sometimes get disoriented by it and run into stuff.

The only tyime I suffer dizzy spells is when I have full-fledged migraines. Or, I guess I went through them back in 2006, when I had a major middle-ear infection. That was horrible!

Do you get your blood pressure checked often to make sure it doesn't have something to do with that? Sometimes if your pressure is either too high or too low, you can get dizzy.

Dizziness can also be a sign of iron deficiency anemia.

Too, dizziness can be a sign of low blood sugar or dehydration.

Blood pressure is what I am wondering about; it can fluctuate 20 points from lying to standing. The doc tested it in the office last time, and the neurologist did say the same thing about blood pressure. Hate going to doctors but may go more often with this. Thanks for the thoughts.
